Introducing Cala San Vicente

Mallorca is top of the summer holiday charts for many reasons, but one ranks above all others: the island’s stunning coast. We stayed at SENTIDO Don Pedro in Cala San Vicente.

We decided to visit the ever popular star of the Mediterranean, Mallorca for a week thanks to its ravishing beaches, azure views, remote mountains and soulful hill towns. Only regret we have is we didn’t stay longer.

This hotel is set on a little cove between two sandy beaches within walking distance of Puerto Pollensa.

It is based in remote location with only a few bars and restaurants in sight. Also did I forget to mention that the hotel is adult only luxury hotel? Perfect for recharging you’re batteries!
The resort offers hot meals and breakfast style buffer on an all-inclusive basis. Amenities include bars including roof top terrace, outdoor pool with sunlongers, spa including treatments as well as gym and games room.
We were very impressed with hotel upon arrival as we were greeted with cocktails and fresh fruit while waiting to check in. This was great especially after 1 hour being stuck on a coach from the airport to the resort.
Upon arriving at our room, we noticed we were given sea room without requesting. The views were just surreal overlooking the beach cove watching the waves come in. It was even more beautiful upon an evening sitting on balcony with a cocktail watching the sunset.

We spent alot of the holiday snorkeling.

This was the first time I have been snorkeling – I loved it! defiantly a new hobby.

Mallorca crystal clear waters hold amazing sea life for you to enjoy and the two beaches within the hotel are perfect for spending the day snorkeling . Its great to take to the water and bust out the GoPro for an up close at an octopus or three. Don’t worry if you forget to bring some kit – there is plenty of shops nearby selling snorkeling gear including flippers. However, I would highly recommend in investing in one of these

Upon meeting our Thomas cook rep we decided to book an excursion called ‘Discover Mallorca’. The Island Tour excursion consists of different parts: road, sea and rails including a vintage tram.

This trip has it all: Beautiful mountain and coastal scenery, vintage train overlooking lemon and orange groves by the Mountain Range. During this trip you visit the following places: Sa Calobra, Puerto Soller and Palma.

Our favorite place was Puerto Soller in which we had free time to explore. We found a nice place to have lunch and spent up in the shops. We defiantly would go back here to explore a little more as we only had 4 hours here which wasn’t enough.

The remaining of our holiday was spent relaxing by the pool or the outside hot tub taking in the sun rays.

This was our first trip to Mallorca, we now want to go back there to explore more of this incredibly beautiful and diverse island. Even though Majorca is a relatively small, there is so much to do and see.
Overall we would rate this holiday a 5 star out of 5 star. I truly believe it’s one of the most magical spots. It has a stunning backdrop of pine forest and breathtaking views of the mountains. We are already looking to rebook…
