Ah here is my weight loss story about getting started…
My whole life, I’ve been chubby. Okay, who am I kidding? I’ve been overweight. ‘Obese’ My weight is serious enough issue that I considered weight loss surgery but how would that help?
I’m going to share with you everything that I go through on my journey to getting into shape and losing weight.
I have never been athletic and I love eating—not a very good combination, obviously. Most of my life I have been overweight and battled with my weight.
I started my journey few weeks ago which didn’t go well. I was still ill from my gallbladder surgery (still not 100% and no confirmation to whats causing the pain) and I was really busy. Basically, Life (excuses) got in the way: too tired, too busy, too stressed, got things to do, need to work instead of exercising.
I’m feeling motivated!
This is one of those times, when I am feeling it. I am motivated to get back into things so I faced the scales today. It wasn’t great. The machine kept saying error and for a moment I thought I broke the machine – thankfully I didn’t. It The number of the scales – WOW! Am I really that Big? I literally burst into tears. I can’t believe I have let myself get this big. This is literally the biggest I have ever been.
I will never be this weight again…
I literally will never be this weight again. If this isn’t the time to change my lifestyle, focus on what im eating and working on my fitness then it never will be. If I carry on the way I was going then I will most certainly put myself in an early grave – not great!
I have took all my measurements which are as below:
Waist – 55 inches, Bum 56 Inches, Thigh 30 Inches, Arms 17 Inches and Chest 51 Inches.
I then took before pictures which I will look back on and be proud of what I’ve achieved. These images are awful. I suppose we all have to start somewhere right?
I am going to take my pictures and measurements every month. This will allow me to reflect on the changes and my achievements so far. I will post them in my blogs over the upcoming year.
Is there a particular healthy eating plan do I want to follow? Do I live on salad? Do I want to count calories? What about Macros? What about Juices?
It doesn’t need to be complicated. You might want to do something a simple as cleaning up your food or cutting down on portions. I am going to follow the slimming world plan about food optimising and limit my portion control. I am going to cut completely takeaways as they seem to my biggest downfall and cook all my meals from fresh myself.
