Third day into recovering from indulgent eating and changing my food choices.
I am suffering from a headache already but think it is my body detoxing. I have went from over indulging on sweets, booze and not so healthy meals to cutting it all out completely – Its my body just detoxing.
Its now it’s time to recover from that indulgent living…
The best way to do that is to change and start eating healthy.
I have decided to share some of my food pictures and recipes along my weight loss journey. One of the biggest things that helps me stay on track is planning, preparing ahead of time i.e taking chicken out the freezer before head to work or turn the slow cooker on. Its the little things that add up.
When we think of diets we think of counting calories, eating low-calorie foods, cutting the things we love out completely, starving, and being miserable. It doesn’t have to be this way!
I prefer to call my weight loss approach eating healthy or refer to it as changing my food choices. That’s because it bears no relationship to a typical diet and it doesn’t have to be a chore.
You don’t have to give up the cakes, the cheesy pizzas and the chocolate – you can still have this but in moderation. If we restricted and banned ourselves from eating these foods altogether we wouldn’t last. Eating healthy is about moderation, alternatives and choices.

I love taking my favourite meals and changing them to healthy versions like McDonald’s, Nandos and Chinese.
I have decided to post my foodie pictures and share recipe ideas. Eating healthy can actually be delicious and appealing. I am following slimming world as a guide in which I follow their food plan so a lot of my recipes will be based around this. These will help you to get off to a great start in the new year…
1) Baked berry oats
Delicious! Keeping it simple and easy. This has become a massive part of my weekly breakfast schedule. Breakfast is the most important part of the day.
INGREDIENTS – MAKES ONE
35g Rolled Oats
90g of Fat free Greek yogurt
1 teaspoons vanilla essence
100g of frozen mixed berries or any fruit of your choice
1 medium egg
1 tablespoon of sweetener
Simply mix everything together and simply pop mixture in an small oven proof dish (like this one) for approx 25 minutes, or until browned. Serve as like.

2) Oven baked salmon in sizzling Chilli-garlic greens with side of lemon.
3) Lamb bolognese on top of spinach served with a sweet potato
Perfect alternative to spaghetti bolognese…
4) Mad quick spinach, egg, sausage, tomatoes and
bacon bake topped with cheese. Perfect brunch.
5) Big Lean breakfast with no fat
Bacon(fat removed) with chicken sausages, spinach, egg, tomatoes and mushrooms.
